Three big things to know
1. Run the dang ball Bobo Schottenheimer!
The Bulldogs are averaging 256 rushing yards per game. Chubb is obviously the headliner, but against an FCS team like Southern, his teammates Sony Michel and Keith Marshall should get plenty of opportunities to make plays.
2. The Comedown
The downside to completing 96 percent of your passes is that the next week is almost certain to disappoint. Lambert’s 330 yards against the Gamecocks was more productive than week’s 1 and 2 combined. So has the light come on for the Virginia transfer, or will his previous struggles resume?
Georgia’s junior linebacker leads the team with 22 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss, including 3 sacks. Southern offers an opportunity for him to make a case for the SEC’s top defensive player
