On fourth-and-goal, Trevone Boykin’s throw to Josh Doctson was too high, the rare throw Doctson was unable to catch on a day he tied a Big 12 record with 18 receptions. With under 30 seconds in the game, it seemed like TCU’s hopes were shot as the ball fell towards the turf.
But running back Aaron Green found himself near the play and caught the ball Doctson tipped, diving and managing to get a foot down in the end zone.

That gave No. 3 TCU a 55-52 lead with 23 seconds to go, and TTU couldn’t convert a Hail Mary. Sad Texas Tech fans were sad:
