The Crimson Tide are a one-point dog at Georgia.

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

The Alabama Crimson Tide have opened as a one-point underdog at the Westgate Las Vegas sportsbook for their Oct. 3 game at Georgia. This is the first time that Alabama has been an underdog in 72 games, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy:

The Crimson Tide haven't been an underdog since the 2009 SEC Championship Game against Florida, a period of 2,128 days as a favorite. Over that period, Alabama has gone 62-10, only confirming its status as perpetual favorite.

Alabama-Georgia kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
