Steve Spurrier knows who Boosie Badazz is, so here’s the remix

The Head Ball Coach AKA Steve Spurrier has a player who shares the same nickname as rapper Boosie AKA Lil Boosie, you see.

“THE RAPPER, YER TALKIN BOUT?”

South Carolina defensive end Quandeski Whitlow, who goes by Boosie, has a family history for his nickname:

When I was four or five years old, my grandma gave me that nickname. For what, I don’t know, but she just started calling me that. When I got to middle school, everyone called me my new name, including teachers and coaches.

The more famous Boosie, the man behind five or six mixtapes per hour and about 100 guest verses per week and a stint or two behind bars, officially changed his stage name to Boosie Badazz from Lil Boosie last year, after some lingering confusion. So now we’re all clear on which Boosie is which.
