Georgia Tech was on pace to score much more than 69 points in their season opener against Alcorn State. 34 in the first quarter, 48 in the first half. They scored nine rushing touchdowns and hit 69 points with 12 minutes to go.
But Paul Johnson knew something incredibly #nice was afoot. After scoring TD’s on 10 of their first 11 drives, the Yellow Jackets punted their only two punts to end the game with 69 points.
What a Nice way to start the season.
