Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan and the other teams who’d make for the best 2016 Playoff
At the site of the National Championship, we gathered to talk about the teams we’d most enjoy seeing in next season’s. Who’s on your list?
Year one of the College Football Playoff was a roaring success for everyone involved. Year two was bumpier, but still resulted in one of the best championships in the sport’s short history of actually having title games.
We’re now gearing up for the third-ever Playoff, which will put its semifinals in the Fiesta and Peach bowls in 352 short days. We could predict who we think will be in those spots, but that’s not quite as fun as just going ahead and booking the top four ourselves. So, four of us took our cracks at it.
Three of our four said Michigan, with Baylor and Oregon also getting multiple picks. Each of us also picked a non-Alabama team from the SEC, which ... yeah, these aren’t predictions, remember?
Let us know in the comments who you want to see in next year’s four. Who’s your longest long shot that you hope makes it in, purely in the name of fun?
