Sometimes, blocking a kick is a two-person job. Not the case when it comes to Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, because he can do it all by himself.
Clemson lined up safe to watch for the fake, but this dude blocked the kick anyway
Christian Wilkins is a one-man wrecking crew.

The NC State blocker lined up on him over-extends himself, losing leverage. He trips on his teammate to the right, and after he’s unable to hold up at the point of attack, Wilkins takes him on with just one arm and essentially walks into the backfield to knock this field goal out of the sky.
The block only adds to Wilkins’ already-long list of achievements recently.
He even added to it earlier in this game.
This came on a drive that started with the Wolfpack nearly returning a fumble for a touchdown, setting themselves up in advantageous field positioning. But after getting to the Clemson 9-yard line, the Wolfpack lost 11 yards and were forced to kick this field goal.
It’s important to note that Clemson wasn’t even set up to block it.
The Tigers really only rush four players up the middle and one on the outside. It looks like a safe formation in anticipation of a fake by NC State.
But Wilkins made the block happen, whether it was planned or not.
