Florida beat South Carolina, 20-7, on Saturday afternoon, and it was Senior Day for the Florida players. The game was an interesting one, due to the fact that Gamecocks head coach WIll Muschamp was returning to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the first time since he was fired in 2014 from Florida after four seasons in Gainesville.
Will Muschamp shares special moment with former players after Florida beat South Carolina
How cool is this?

After the game, Muschamp shared a really special moment with his former players — many of the players he recruited to Florida were still on the team.
(This came one week after Muschamp encouraged first-year head coach Barry Odom on the field after South Carolina beat Mizzou.)
“Seeing those guys on the field and having been in their living rooms and recruited them and all that, heck, I didn’t realize it was going to be senior day until today,” Muschamp said last week, via SEC Country. “It’s their last home game. There’s some great young men on that football team. Guys I’ve got tremendous respect for. I admire a lot of those guys, recruited them to Florida …”
Muschamp’s team might not have gotten a victory in his former stadium, but seeing his former players must have been an incredibly cool and surreal moment.
