11/19 college football schedule: TV times, live streams, and the best games to watch

Here’s Saturday’s FBS schedule, arranged handily for your viewing pleasure.

Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports

Because the college football season moves incredibly quickly, we’re already at Week 12. The slate of games this week is fine, and there should be enough here to keep all of us happily occupied throughout Saturday. But it’s just a taste of the goodness to come during next week – Rivalry Week – and the championship weekend that follows. There’s chaos on the way, and this weekend’s just a taste, basically. It’s a primer.

A couple of conference and divisional races can’t be settled for another week or two, but we’ll get closer on Saturday.

Oklahoma could clinch the Big 12 with a win over West Virginia and an Oklahoma State loss to TCU. Florida can clinch the SEC East with a win against LSU or a Tennessee loss to Missouri. Wisconsin could settle the Big Ten West if it wins and gets a Nebraska loss. Washington State could wrap the Pac-12 North by beating Colorado (difficult) and having Washington lose to Arizona State (unlikely.) Clemson’s game against Wake Forest will decide the ACC Atlantic, which either goes to the Tigers or Louisville. We’ll learn a bit today.

Here’s the day’s full FBS schedule, sorted into a helpful Watchability Grid:

Notes!

  • Oklahoma State-TCU should be good. The Frogs are playing at home, and Oklahoma State’s pass defense is just bad enough that Kenny Hill should be able to have a nice afternoon. But the Pokes are basically a one-loss team – sorry, MAC refs – and have looked strong in the last month. Who knows?
  • Florida-LSU ought to be interesting, just for the subtext. They bickered so much before agreeing to play on this date, and they’re finally getting around to it. Ed Orgeron is coaching for the full-time, permanent gig at LSU, and Leonard Fournette is probably coming to the end of his collegiate career. Plus, there’s the detail that Florida clinches the East with a win. I’m not saying it’ll be good. I’m just saying there’s a lot going on.
  • Washington State-Colorado! This is a huge game. Just trust me.
  • Oklahoma looks strikingly like a better team than West Virginia. Oklahoma should win this game and then win the Big 12. I’m just not sure either’s going to happen. These Mountaineers are pesky, and they’re never an easy out in Morgantown. This has real Big 12 weirdness potential.
  • USC-UCLA will be fun, but strictly in the sense that USC is now fun. The Trojans lost too many games early in the season (specifically, three games) to be a Playoff threat, but their second-half charge makes for a pretty good eight-team playoff case. Sam Darnold is a joy. Just watch the Trojans.
