No. 9 Oklahoma is in Morgantown to play No. 14 West Virginia on Saturday night. It’s a critical game in the Big 12 standings, and there’ll be more to say about that element of things in the coming days. But for now, let’s just focus on how much fun this must be.
Oklahoma-West Virginia is a beautiful, 60,000-person party in the snow
It’s a huge game. Also, it’s a winter wonderland.

There’s been snow in the area, where it’s 36 degrees. The snow appears to have moved through, at least for now. But at kickoff, it was plentiful.
What a rollicking atmosphere.
Look at this cheerleader, soldiering onward.
I’m not at Milan Puskar Stadium, but I wish I were.
You have to love it:
This is the first weekend of the college football season that’s brought us official Snow Games, and that’s a wonderful thing to have back in our lives. Michigan’s game against Indiana earlier in the day brought us some of the most serious Big Ten snow that’s been seen in years. If you’re cool with some weather, you’re cool with this.
Right after the start of the game, Oklahoma already had one wide-open drop, and players looked to be moving around the turf gingerly, scared of falling. The night could get messy, depending on how Mother Nature wants things.
Just stay strong, little man:
You’ll remember this night forever, hopefully in a positive way.
