South Carolina’s offense had an uphill battle ahead entering the fourth quarter of the Birmingham Bowl against USF, trailing 39-24. The Gamecocks were able to pull within eight points with a beautiful touchdown grab from receiver Bryan Edwards. Watch as Edwards somehow manages to haul this one in.
This tipped ball disappears and then reappears as a diving South Carolina TD catch
The touchdown made the Birmingham Bowl a one-score game.

The ball was tipped by the USF defender, but Edwards kept control to still make the play. The craziest part was how the ball looks to disappear then reappear again. Edwards, a true freshman, was the No. 3-ranked prospect out of the state of South Carolina as a recruit in the 2016 class. On the season, Edwards has 71 yards receiving and two touchdowns, his first one coming in the season finale against Clemson.
Kudos to Edwards for making the play to keep his team alive.
