Coming into the 2016 NFL Draft, there was no doubt that Ohio State would run the weekend. This has been a scheduled to-do for the Buckeyes since last year, when it was clear almost the entirety of a national championship team was returning. And, yep, NFL teams confirmed this as Ohio State’s draft class.

The Buckeyes didn’t break the all-time record for the most picks (14, set by ... Ohio State in 2004), but they did do some other cool stuff along the way:
- Two picks in the first four, a first since Oklahoma’s 2010,
- New record for the most picks in the first three rounds, with 10,
- No. 3 pick Joey Bosa announcing his Chargers’ pick of another Buckeye, thus creating a reverberating chamber of Ohio State echoing throughout the draft,
- Having at least one player at every major position group selected (holy crap, y’all),
- And completely dunking on Michigan, at one point having 10 more picks than the Wolverines and finishing with nine more.
