Tennessee stormed ahead of Florida with a tricky, awesome 67-yard TD

The Vols are in business and also in style.

Tennessee trailed 21-3 at the half against Florida on Saturday. Now Tennessee doesn’t trail 21-3 against Florida anymore.

The Vols have scored the first four touchdowns (and 31 points) of the second half, storming all the way back to take their first lead on the Gators. It’s been a remarkable comeback, and it reached a crescendo with this 67-yard touchdown pass from Joshua Dobbs to Jauan Jennings. Jennings slipped by Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor and tiptoed along the right sideline while using his helmet and hands to secure an over-the-shoulder catch. Neyland Stadium went nuts.

Florida’s pass defense had been suffocating through three weeks, and things weren’t going any better for the Vols in the first half. This was a pretty remarkable change of fortunes.

Tennessee followed this with an interception and another touchdown. The Vols are either on their way to capping a world-class comeback or to the end of a really disappointing roller coaster ride, but it looks pretty good right now.
