This defense surrendered 36.2 points per game this year, and currently allows a 44.2 percent success rate — ranking 102nd in the nation out of 130 teams. Offensively, Baylor averages 27.2 points per game, but the defense has to step up to help out the offense.

Oklahoma State (4-1), on the other hand, is lethal on offense, averaging 46.8 points per game this season. This unit has a 49.6 percent success rate, which is eighth-best in the nation. Baylor will have its hands full against the Cowboys’ high-octane offense.

Oklahoma State’s leading receiver scored another honor today. James Washington has been announced on the ESPN midseason All-America team. With 28 receptions and 647 yards at about the halfway mark, Washington is putting his name in award voters minds.

Oklahoma State will win this game by a large margin. Baylor’s defense isn’t playing well this year, and that unit doesn’t have a chance to neutralize the Cowboys’ potent offense.
