As a college head coach, you know you’re in trouble when the plane banners start flying above the stadium on Saturdays. For Butch Jones that time has come.
There’s a plane flying a misspelled banner over Tennessee-Alabama meant to troll Butch Jones
Gotta use spell check on these things.

The “Fire Butch Jones” signs are nothing new. They’ve been everywhere in the last year or two. This is a new spin on that, though, with a subtle burn that essentially admits that nobody in the orbit of the Vols’ program is satisfied beyond the woman that birthed him. This also seems to be sponsored by a Chattanooga law firm called Warren & Griffin.
The typo on “you” is a lot to handle, and we’re guessing the “ur” is to save money and fit everything on the banner. How this ends up taking to the sky without someone catching the error is egregious.
Jones’ hotseat probably won’t get much hotter on Saturday, even though the Vols are likely to get absolutely lambasted by Alabama as a five-touchdown underdog. But then again, that’s the problem with Tennessee. It’s not that they don’t have a shot against the Crimson Tide — plenty of teams are assumed to lose. But not every team is going to be a 35-point underdog, especially in a rivalry tilt.
