Arizona QB Khalil Tate didn’t start the season as QB1, but at this rate he’s certainly gonna finish the season that way.
Arizona QB Khalil Tate is apparently impossible to defend
Arizona’s signal-caller is absolutely torching defenses.

He entered Arizona’s game against Washington State with three games of 300-plus total yards in three tries, and, yep, he’s at it again. Here’s an 84-yarder against WSU:
Tate’s that kinda fast where my guy doesn’t look like he’s really running. It’s like Usain Bolt style where he’s just running away from dudes at a leisurely pace. Seriously, look at this guy move:
He’s so impressive even LeBron James is on board.
The thing that makes me so excited about Tate is the fact that he didn’t play early in the season because he didn’t know the playbook. But that means his ceiling is mighty high, and he’s got time to get further ingratiated with what Rich Rodriguez wants to do. With defenses set up to stop pass-happy systems, Tate could end up being truly deadly against the Pac-12. We know what a Rodriguez team can do with a talented mobile QB.
