How to watch SMU-Memphis, which went to a weather delay in the fourth quarter

We have all you need to know to watch and stream SMU vs. Memphis on Saturday.

Update: This game paused for a 30-minute weather delay, at minimum, just after 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. Memphis led by 14 early in the fourth quarter. We’ll update this post as more information becomes available.

The Memphis Tigers need a win this week or next to secure the AAC West title, and they’re set to take on the SMU Mustangs on Saturday. They’ll be playing at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN News (live streaming via WatchESPN).

Memphis is also potentially in line for one of the New Year’s Six bowl games, but they have to beat SMU, East Carolina, and then win the AAC championship to make it that far.

They’ve won their last five games, their only loss an upset at the hands of UCF earlier in the season. Memphis lost that game, 40-13, but has since hung 70 points on one team, 56 on another, and 41 in its last game at Tulsa.

The Tigers are favored big time against the SMU Mustangs, who have lost their last two games, falling to then-No. 18 UCF and, most recently, Navy. The game against Navy was razor thin, ending 43-40 in their opponents’ favor. They are 6-4 on the season, and they will play in a bowl game.

It might seem like there isn’t a whole lot on the line for SMU, but finishing strong and scoring an upset over a team like Memphis would do wonders for their morale down the stretch.

Below, you can find all the viewing information for Saturday’s game, as well as odds, news, predictions and more.

SMU vs. Memphis prediction:

SMU’s only real chance at winning is a huge offensive shootout. Memphis should be able to win that kind of game, too, though, so we’re going with Memphis. It shouldn’t be close, but it might be.
