Ole Miss’ D.K. Metcalf hits Mississippi State with a dog pee celebration

Metcalf pulls the ol’ OBJ celebration against the Bulldogs.

The Egg Bowl is getting out of hand. With just over two minutes left in the third quarter, Ole Miss quarterback Jordan Ta’amu completed a long pass to receiver D.K. Metcalf for the 63-yard touchdown and a 24-6 lead over the No. 14 Mississippi State Bulldogs.

It was an impressive catch and run as he shook off the defender, but it was his actions after the touchdown that garnered more attention.

Yes, it appears as if Metcalf is doing the ol’ Odell Beckham Jr. “peeing dog” touchdown celebration. Ole Miss was unsurprisingly penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct on the play.

Neither team has been keeping it particularly civil, despite requests from the schools before the game.

Oh well, maybe the celebration can have a more lasting impact on the Rebels Black Bears Landsharks?
