Starkville native A.J. Brown claims Starkville in the name of A.J. Brown after huge TD catch

Can’t blame him, really.

Ole Miss has taken control of Thursday night’s game against Mississippi State, folks. The Rebels are currently up 24-6 heading into the fourth quarter. After the Rebels’ touchdown to go up, 17-6, a 77-yard reception from Ole Miss quarterback Jordan Ta’amu to A.J. Brown, the Starkville native told the Bulldogs crowd he owns this city:

The crowd wasn’t very happy when Brown scored, to say the least — one of the fans was caught giving him the bird from the end zone:

This year’s Egg Bowl has had its fair share of chippiness — before the game even kicked off, there were two pregame scuffles, and one of Ole Miss’ players celebrated another Rebels touchdown by pretending to pee on the field like a dog:

Love you, Egg Bowl. Stay classy.
