Jimbo Fisher is going through an interesting courtship with Texas A&M. It’s public, and it’s messy, and it could make things so untenable that staying in Tallahassee may not be an option. During Fisher’s weekly call-in show, a fan confronted Fisher during the portion of the show that lets fans in attendance ask questions.
Fan confronts Jimbo Fisher over A&M rumors, then gets shoved out of radio show
Well, this is awkward.

“Where’s the loyalty,” the man asks before having the mic yanked from his hands and getting pushed out of the audience.
All things considered, the call-in show actually went pretty well.
Through the first 45 minutes of the program, he was asked a plethora of questions, however none regarding the coaching vacancy at Texas A&M. As the show does screen calls, the only realistic way for Fisher was to be asked in-studio, or over the phone with the caller faking their question to the call.
Well, 45 minutes into the show, the former finally happened. A member of the audience talked about Fisher’s loyalty to Florida State. He was able to get away his question of, “Where’s the loyalty Jimbo?“ before being promptly shoved away from the microphone, and ejected from the facility. The whole altercation was roughly 30-45 seconds. It was the only question all show regarding those rumors.
SB Nation’s FSU blog, Tomahawk Nation, interviewed the fan, who goes by Mike, afterward:
Now as to why Fisher’s doing the call-in show, it’s because he’s contractually obligated to do so. Also, canceling it would also not be a good look given all the rumors surrounding Fisher.
This game week wasn’t even supposed to be happening, though, because the 5-6 Noles obviously aren’t playing in the ACC championship game. But Florida State rescheduled its previously cancelled game with Louisiana Monroe to this weekend after the ACC title game was put out of reach.
If FSU wins, it will preserve its record bowl streak. If the Noles don’t, they’ll have some egg on their face for sure.
What’s worse is no matter what happens they could lose their coach to the Aggies.
