Midway through the first quarter, down 3-0 to Texas A&M, No. 14 Auburn faced a fourth-and-1 at the TAMU 22-yard line. The Tigers got fancy, calling a fake instead of attempting the manageable 39-yard field goal.
Auburn converts a fake field goal attempt, has it called back for a hold, then has field goal blocked
Life comes at ya fast.

Holder Tyler Stovall barreled through the line and picked up three yards and a first down, but a holding call negated the pick up and pushed the Tigers back ten yards. On the ensuing 48-yard field goal, things went from bad to worse for Auburn as TAMU’s Justin Madubuike got a hand on the ball, blocking the attempt.
Good job, good effort, Auburn.
