The 2017 Potato Bowl kicked off Thursday afternoon between Wyoming and Central Michigan. The two teams share similar color schemes — Wyoming is brown and yellow, and Central Michigan is maroon and yellow. The game is played annually on Boise State’s famous blue-painted turf, so the color schemes together paired with the bright blue field, is uh, something. A lot of people started noticing the combination:
Wyoming and CMU both wearing home uniforms on Boise State’s blue field makes for a Potato Bowl color explosion
MY EYES.

Look, you can’t really help that both of these uniforms look similar, as well as the colors, but the whole thing paired with the blue makes it look interesting on the eyes.
Some people on Twitter pointed out how hard it was keeping the teams straight on the field, which you can’t really blame them.
It’s really not in anyone’s control that these two teams have similar uniforms, but having it with the bright blue turf is pretty comical for sure.
