Week 1 of the college football season included only a handful of games that impacted the top 25 rankings by more than a few spots.

Florida State and Florida lost as underdogs to Alabama and Michigan, respectively. Maryland went into Austin to ruin Tom Herman’s Longhorns debut. And the only other AP-ranked team to fall was West Virginia, which lost to Virginia Tech on Sunday night.

The rankings that matter most, the College Football Playoff committee’s, don’t get here until Halloween, but at the very least, these new rankings show just how loaded Week 2’s slate of games is. Auburn-Clemson, Oklahoma-Ohio State, Stanford-USC, and Georgia-Notre Dame are inbound all at once.

Here are four new top 25s, a mix of both human polls and computer ratings. (Also, if you want to see only as many ranked teams as deserve to be ranked, Spencer Hall’s Top Whatever is here.)
