No. 14 Florida, who just beat then-No. 5 LSU last Saturday, was getting shellacked by unranked, 3-3 Vanderbilt through the first half. In the second quarter, Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks fumbled the football, and what resulted in an eventual Vandy recovery was pure art. Please look at this beautiful disaster:
Treasuring this Florida-Vandy epic of a fumble, frame-by-frame
A beautiful disaster.

I have to break this down frame-by-frame, because I believe it is my duty.
Special thanks to the folks at Sports Illustrated on Twitter for providing these frames.
Moment 1: It looks like Vandy cleanly recovers Franks’ fumble, right?
Wrong, so very wrong. This ball ended up rolling way down the field before it was finally downed.
Moment 2: Ball keeps on rollin’ even thought two Vandy defenders are literally right near it.
Moment 3: The ball finally gets in Vandy’s hands, but this ball doesn’t wanna stop moving. IT KEEPS ON ROLLING!
Moment 4: It literally almost rolls out of bounds, which would result in Florida ball with a huge loss of yardage.
Moment 5: Instead, Vanderbilt recovers it on Florida’s own 28 yardline.
Vanderbilt got the ball back, and ended up capitalizing on the turnover, scoring a touchdown to take a 21-3 lead over the Gators.
Thank you for this beautiful moment, Commodores and Gators.
