Michigan vs. Ohio State 2018 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online
A berth in the Big Ten title game is on the line in one of college football’s biggest rivalries.

The Wolverines are headed south for their first game in Ohio Stadium since the spot was good, and a streak-breaking victory Saturday could be the fuel that propels Jim Harbaugh to his first College Football Playoff berth.
No. 4 Michigan has reeled off 10 straight wins since an opening week loss to Notre Dame, and handling a defense-deficit Buckeye team wouldn’t just snap a six-year losing streak to their Big Ten rival — it could also be the launching pad for the Wolverines’ first national title since 1997. But Ohio State is in a similar situation, and handling Michigan at home before claiming a conference championship could be all the CFP committee needs to see before inviting Urban Meyer back to football’s final four.
It’s a major test for each program, and result could be the ticket that grants access to a national championship run. So can the Wolverines avenge the ghosts of their recent past and finally give Harbaugh a win over the Buckeyes?
Michigan vs. Ohio State prediction:
The S&P+ ratings slot Michigan in at No. 4 and Ohio State in at No. 8. Ohio Stadium will be rocking with O-H-I-O chants, but the combination of one of the strongest Wolverine teams of the past two decades and the Buckeyes’ eye-rolling defense should give UM all the leverage it needs to escape Columbus with a win.

Michigan vs. Ohio State news:
- Ohio State knows stopping Shea Patterson is the quickest way to deflate the Wolverines.
- Michigan’s linebacking corps is filled with studs in 2018 — most notably Devin Bush Jr.
- If all goes as planned, Michigan’s path to a national title runs though ...eesh, Alabama.
- The best Wolverine team in years is on a revenge tour, and Columbus has always been a featured destination.
There’s never a time where the Ohio State-Michigan game isn’t important, but after the past several encounters, it might mean even more this season. Not only is there a spot in the Big Ten championship on the line, but it could alter the future of the programs. Jim Harbaugh is 0-4 against the Buckeyes as the head coach of the Wolverines, meanwhile Urban Meyer has yet to take a loss in The Game. There have already been classics, despite Ohio State’s recent dominance in the rivalry, including in 2016 where the Buckeyes came away with a double overtime win.
But with Meyer’s future swirling with rumors and Harbaugh finally seeming to get his team to an elite status, this game could have a larger impact outside of the season and more so into the future of these two programs.
- Michigan is the favorite Saturday, but here’s how the Buckeyes pull off an entirely reasonable upset.
Can the Buckeyes turn this into the shootout they need to emerge victorious?
Ohio State is going to give up some points Saturday. This is an accepted fact because it is the program against which Maryland just scored 51. The question is whether the Buckeye offense can keep up.
JK Dobbins has struggled to find his extra gear in 2018, but his most recent performance against Michigan saw him rack up 101 yards on only 15 carries last fall. Dwayne Haskins has proven himself as a volume thrower (he’s thrown for 400+ yards in four of his last six games), but he can’t afford his all-too-frequent turnovers for OSU to keep pace against the Wolverines. Ohio State has a few different ways to win this game, but the most likely one comes in a 45-44 type explosion where defense is rarely talked about in favorable terms.
