Alabama QB and likely Heisman Trophy winner has been on outrageous run. He entered Saturday’s game at LSU with 25 touchdowns against zero interceptions. He’s been so outlandishly good that you could be forgiven for thinking he’d never throw another interception in his life, regardless of how rational that sounded (not at all).
Even Tua Tagovailoa’s first interception of 2018 worked out fine for Bama
Alabama’s star QB finally did something wrong, and it still flipped the field in the Tide’s favor.

He finally did throw a pick late in the second quarter in Death Valley, though. After he eluded some pressure, he threw a deep ball to Jerry Jeudy, and Todd Harris Jr. swiped it.
The good news for everyone else is that Tagovailoa may actually be mortal, like a regular person. The bad news ...
... is that it’s not like he made some grave mistake.
He’d have rather not thrown a pick, but Harris’ interception gave LSU’s helpless offense the ball at its own 4-yard line. Tagovailoa gained 56 yards of field position with his first pick.
LSU moved backward to its own 1 on three plays, then punted immediately. The Tide took over at the LSU 46, ahead of where they were when Tagovailoa threw the interception.
Two plays later, he threw a 25-yard-yard touchdown to Irv Smith Jr.
