Dudes with extremely SEC West haircuts arrested for allegedly stealing Alabama football memorabilia

This is some potential SEC divisional crime.

There’s a headline I bet you don’t don’t see every day. On Wednesday, four Mississippi State students were arrested for some alleged SEC West-on-SEC West crime —breaking into Alabama’s football facility and stealing memorabilia. The alleged incident occurred last week, according to court documents obtained by the Tuscaloosa News:

According to court documents, the four young men were caught on surveillance video breaking into the complex at 1102 Coliseum Drive at 2:17 a.m. the morning of April 4. A UAPD officer wrote in charging documents that items stolen included “various items of memorabilia from within.”

UA Police obtained warrants to charge each suspect Friday. Documents indicate each was arrested on a felony third-degree burglary charge Monday and released the same day on $7,500 bond.

One minor detail — look at how extremely SEC West and frat-tastic these haircuts are!

Now trust me, I’m not condoning this whatsoever by saying this, but I just had to point out this humorous irony I noticed.

“Mississippi State is cooperating with authorities in this investigation,” MSU Chief Communications Officer Sid Salter said in a statement. “The young men will have to bear responsibility for their actions, whatever they were. The legal process will play out. MSU doesn’t have a role in the legal process, but will monitor that process.”

Wonder if we’ll get to find out what actually was stolen.
