I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody do this, and I’m pretty dang impressed. During ESPN2’s broadcast of Tulane’s home game against Memphis on Friday Sept. 28, the broadcast crew showed Green Wave defensive end Robert Kennedy eat an apple whole. That’s right — he straight up ate the whole thing in one bite, and he did it within 90 seconds.
Ever seen somebody eat an apple whole? Tulane’s Robert Kennedy can do it in 90 seconds.
WUT.

Related, and very important regarding this very fun Friday night ESPN2 crew:
Kennedy, a redshirt senior, has accounted for 48 total tackles throughout his Tulane career. During the 2016 offseason, he suffered a torn ACL while he was lifting weights, which limited him to play in Tulane’s last five games last season.
“He’s just kind of an old-fashioned player,” Tulane head coach Willie Fritz said of Kennedy via The Advocate in August 2018. “He’s a tough, hard-nosed guy, and when he’s on, he can be very explosive, too. The first game that I coached here against Wake Forest, he made a bunch of plays and dominated that game. The guy ran a 22-something 200 meters in high school. He’s a good athlete.”
A good athlete who’s got one heck of an impressive hidden talent, indeed.
