The Florida state government is threatening to sue the CFP, and we have jumped the shark

Can we please stop being annoying about this?

So, as you know, Florida State was left out of the College Football Playoff. A disgrace? Yes. A travesty? Sure, depending on who you ask. Worthy of getting the STATE GOVERNMENT OF FLORIDA involved? Yeah, I’m not sure about that.

Well, that’s where we are. With 2024 being an election year, we’re seeing a lot of state representatives get involved in college sports and fighting the NCAA. When James Madison was temporarily left out of bowl relief, the Virginia Attorney General decided to threaten the NCAA with legal action, but this by far takes the cake.

After the Seminoles were left out of the final four, senator Rick Scott decided to take matters into his own hands.

Look man, there are so many different things that the senator can and should be focusing on, demanding transparency from the CFP Committee should be well at the bottom of the list.

However, this is not the only thing the state of Florida is doing to stop the unfair snubbing of FSU from the playoff. In a proposed budget for 2024, there’s an estimated $1 million for FSU to SUE THE CFP for being left out. Of course, spearheaded by governor Ron DeSantis, who is running for president in 2024.

Think about all that $1 million can do for the state of Florida, and yet we’re using it for FSU to sue the CFP.

Sometimes the state I live in makes zero sense.
