This Ole Miss football drill is going viral for all the wrong reasons

WHAT ARE THOSE?!

Sometimes we need to explain a specific inside joke behind why something is going viral. Not in the case of this Ole Miss football drill.

Look, we totally understand the idea behind this. It’s a ball carrying drill designed to mimic pushing through contact while defenders are using their arms to knock the ball loose. It also looks like a big old gauntlet of dicks, and there’s no avoiding that.

Interestingly we have a name on the equipment that Ole Miss uses and it comes from Wilder Fitness, and I can’t find anything on their site that remotely looks like this dong machine. It’s remarkable. Which leads me to believe that this might be a custom Lane Kiffin original design, which might be even more terrifying.

Obviously the internet had every joke imaginable when Ole Miss posted this.

I think the comments about the color here are all very salient. Why in the world did they need to be a flesh tone? If these were just blue or red, or a mix of the two it would be totally fine. I’m sure there is a color of vulcanized rubber for this drill that doesn’t make it look like a phallus — but nah, they went with this one.

Keep grinding, Ole Miss.
