The third and the final ODI of the series between South Africa and Australia will be held at Kingsmead in Durban. The two sides have one game each and this match will be the decider.

The two games so far, have been rather one-sided, which is a surprise. In the first, Australia ran home winners by 91 runs, before South Africa made an excellent comeback by taking home the second match by 80 runs.

The batting has done well for the two sides when they have won but in the lost causes, they have not chased too well. This is the mistake, both sides will rectify this game, which could mean that the chances of another one-sided encounter get reduced greatly.

The two sides should go into the game with similar sides to what played in the previous game. A lot could depend on how Shane Watson is feeling on the morning of the game given his issues with the back. If he declares himself fit, he could be back to opening the innings.

However, with Shaun Marsh and Dave Warner around as well, selection could be a tough call. Either ways, it does look like Ricky Ponting will now be able to bat down the order.

South Africa should be looking to go into the game with the same 11. After resisting the temptation to tamper with the side that lost the first ODI, the team came back strongly with the ball in the second. With Morne Morkel grabbing four wickets and the man of the match award, it will be left to Dale Steyn to show some kind of form in the game.

Nothing to choose from between the two sides and one can only hope for a repeat of the 434-classic.

South Africa v Australia 3rd ODI at Durban begins from 1430 hours local time on Friday.
