Champions League T20 2011: Chennai Super Kings V New South Wales Blues Preview And Live Timings
Chennai Super Kings find themselves in a must-win situation in their last CLT20 game against the New South Wales Blues

The night game of Tuesday will see the Chennai Super Kings use a last-ditch effort to overcome the New South Wales Blues to make it to the quarter-finals.
Venue: M Chidambaram, Chennai
Date: October 4, 2011
Time: 2000 hours local time, 1430 hours GMT onwards
The Chennai Super Kings v New South Wales Blues Champions League T20, 2011 match will be shown live on Star Cricket in India.
Previous Results:
Chennai Super Kings have been appalling by their own high standards. They went down carelessly to the Mumbai Indians when they should have actually won the game, while getting beaten by Trinidad and Tobago in the previous match on a slow and low pitch. In between they won against the Cobras but that was only thanks to a late surge from Dwayne Bravo, with both, the bat and the ball.
The New South Wales Blues have done well so far, winning two of the three games. Both their wins were hard-fought, though, in the end, Mumbai Indians were easily beaten. The one loss came in their first game when they went down to the Cobras in their opening encounter.
Key Players:
The Chennai Super Kings need Suresh Raina to score. So far, he has not had the best of the tournaments, getting only 40 runs from his three innings. His hard-hitting skills will be the key if the side has to have any chances of getting through to the semi-finals.
New South Wales have not had much by the way of contribution from Shane Watson – either with the bat or the ball. If Watson can get things together and get the side a good start, it will help the latter New South Wales batsmen to play their natural game.
And they will miss...
If the Super Kings look into their squad, they do not have any batting back-up except the national selector’s son. That, to me, has been a problem for the Super Kings that they cannot afford to drop any of their out of form Indian batsmen to bolster their batting.
New South Wales would have loved to have Brett Lee on such a track. The ball keeps so low and comes off so slow that it would be difficult to adjust to someone like Lee, who is quick in the air. Unfortunately for the Blues, he is plying his trade for the Knight Riders
Prediction:
Chennai to be favourites, in their home game, but may not qualify for the semi-finals.
