Bangalore were slowed down in their tracks by some good slow bowling from Harbhajan Singh and Kieron Pollard in their chase of 140 for a win.

Yuzvendra Chahal starts off by conceding a boundary but holds the over back to only six runs. Bangalore, at 62/2 in nine overs, are going at the run-rate that was needed at the start of the innings. One would like to think that the asking rate is well within manageable proportions but if one were to add another wicket to this score – especially if it is that of Kohli – things could get more interesting.
It wouldn’t be too far either from the introduction of James Franklin, who played a huge role in getting the Mumbai Indians to final by bowling a superb 19th over. Bangalore 65/2 after 10 overs.
