Sachin Tendulkar missed out on a golden opportunity to make his 100th century in international cricket when he was dismissed for 94 in the third and the final Test match at the Wankhede Stadium.
Sachin Tendulkar 100 Centuries: Tendulkar Gets Out On 94
Sachin Tendulkar missed getting to his 100th international century when he was dismissed for 94 by Ravi Rampaul.

Tendulkar, who was batting on 67 overnight, looked positive throughout his stay at the crease and started the proceeedings in the day with a boundary. He followed it up with a couple more of those crunching drives and an up and over the slips stroke for a six – his second such shot of the innings – to take him to 93.
However, denied the strike for a considerable period after that, he edged Ravi Rampaul to the slips, where captain Darren Sammy took a sharp catch to get him out. Tendulkar made 94 and will now have to wait for a while to get to his 100th century.
It also remains to be seen whether Tendulkar plays in the ODIs against West Indies to get to the landmark before that all-important tour of Australia. Tendulkar hasn’t played in the ODI format of the game since the end of the World Cup but he may just want to be a part of the series against West Indies to get done with the landmark before the trip down under.
Tendulkar has 51 Test match centuries and 48 100s in the ODI format of the game. He also has ten scores in the 90s, including two after he got to 99 international centuries.
