Big Bash League Live: Shane Warne To Play Despite Burnt Hand
Shane Warne is said to have told his captain Cameron White that he will play in Melbourne Stars’ opening Big Bash League game.

Warne tweeted about his injury and posted a picture of his burnt on social networking site, Twitter, but captain White was confident that Warne will feature in the game against Sydney Thunder. The match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
White confirmed, “I saw his hand and I saw the pic on Twitter as well - it's one of those things, it looks a lot worse than probably what it is. He said to me in the rooms before that he's pretty sure he'll be able to bowl on Wednesday and 100 per cent confident he's going to play on Saturday as well.”
To add to that, the Stars also suffered from another injury woe when James Faulkner was declared unfit because of an injured finger. He could miss out on this game.
The Big Bash League T20 starts from December 16 with the first game between Sydney Sixers and Brisbane Heat.
