11 years ago when India had toured Australia and lost all their three games, there was one really fast bowler playing in his first ever major series. Brett Lee had earlier mesmerised the Indian A side in a series in the USA and then made life difficult for them in the three Tests in Australia.
Patrick Cummins Injured, May Not Terrorise Indian Batsmen
With Patrick Cummins picking up an injury, India could be up against a rather inexperienced Australian bowling line-up when the two sides meet in Australia in four Test matches.

This time around, when India tour Australia for a four-match series, Australia looked all set to unveil Patrick Cummins at the tourists – except that now it has been revealed that only one Test match into his career, the really quick Cummins is injured. And he will miss out on at least a couple of Tests against India.
The pace of Mitchell Starc and James Pattinson should still be there, but the difference between the pair and Cummins is that extra 5-10 km/hr – a big enough difference in international. More so against a side, which is renowned for its poor batting returns against pace and swing bowling.
Needless to say that the Indian side will be heaving a sigh of relief, having lost all their four Test matches to England recently.
Cummins had earlier won the man of the match award in his debut Test match when he managed to pick up seven wickets and scored the winning runs for the Australian side.
The Indian tour of Australia begins with the first Test match at Melbourne on December 26 while Cummins is expected to get fit only in the middle of January.
