Australian coach Mickey Arthur has said that he feels that David Warner had the potential to lead the team in all formats of the game. It was earlier revealed that Warner could go on to captain the Australian squad in the two-match T20I series against India in place of the incumbent Cameron White.
Australia v India Live T20: Warner Could Lead Side
Dave Warner may lead the Australian side in the forthcoming T20 series against India while coach Arthur has said he is a long-term prospect as a leader.

Warner led the Sydney Thunder in one game of the Big Bash League before returning to the national squad. However, more importantly, it is the poor form of Cameron White that comes as a bit of an issue – what with White having not yet reached double-figures in the T20 series.
He was earlier named the captain of the CA Chairman’s XI and went to smash a match-winning 180 against India in the third Test match at the WACA in Perth.
Arthur said, “Davey has leadership potential. He has the ability to lead any Australian team in any form of the game at some stage. Whether that's in the next couple of weeks or whether that's in a year or five years time I'm not sure.”
He also added that Warner was an intelligent cricketer and he not only leads by example but also trains very hard. Arthur said, “The perceptions that everybody had of David Warner and the reality of David Warner the person are poles apart.”
