Australia V India Live 2nd Test: Australia Favourites At Green Sydney
Australia will walk into the second Test match against a beleaguered Indian bowling attack at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

You can watch the India-Australia 2nd Test match live from January 3 on Channel Nine in Australia and Star Cricket in India.
Australia have a 1-0 lead in the series and another win here will ensure they cannot lose the series. With Indian captain MS Dhoni having earlier admitted that this was India’s best chance to win a series on Australian soil, it means that the Indians will have to tough it out in the middle.
The batsmen have been woeful on away tours this year – with five Test matches and 10 innings resulting in a highest team score of 300. This is hardly any good from a side boasting of the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman.
India will look to make one change though. Number six batsman Virat Kohli could make way for Rohit Sharma after his twin failures in the previous game.
Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav should play this game with R Ashwin. India will be happy to have seen them survive the first game without too many fitness issues.
Australia were toying with the idea of playing an extra pace bowler in place of Nathan Lyon, the off-spinner. However, in the end, they seem to have decided to go into the game with the same 11 that won the previous game.
Ricky Ponting’s twin-half centuries and Michael Hussey’s second innings 80 turned the game in the Aussie favour, but it was James Pattinson’s man-of-the-match-winning haul that won it for the home team.
Australia will be favourites given that the pitch will continue to assist the seam bowlers and the Indian batsmen will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat if they want to level the series at the SCG.
