Ravi Bopara, England’s middle-order batsman will be a part of the IPL auction this season after having rejected a deal last year. Bopara had decided not to be a part of the IPL, in a bid to make a comeback to the Test match side but Eoin Morgan was given preference over Bopara throughout the previous English season.
Ravi Bopara, Other English Cricketers In IPL Auction List
England middle-order cricketer Ravi Bopara has agreed to be a part of the IPL auction after not participating in the tournament last year.

Bopara aside, the likes of James Anderson, Graeme Swann, Matt Prior and Chris Tremlett are also a part of the auction to go with both Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan, who are already a part of the IPL franchises. Pietersen will turn up for the Delhi Daredevils and Morgan plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Stuart Broad, on the other hand, will not be a part of the IPL after deciding to recuperate from the injuries he suffered last season. He is England’s T20 captain and will lead the national side in the World T20 later this year as the side looks to defend their title.
The player auction will be held on February 4 and will see the franchises been allowed a sum of $2 million to spend on player purchases.
Some of the other English cricketers in the list are Luke Wright, the Sussex batsman who smashed a century for the Melbourne Stars recently, Rikki Clarke, Jade Dernbach, Simon Jones and Mal Loye.
