The IPL team of Pune Warriors have added the pair of Sourav Ganguly and Allan Donald to their coaching staff. While Ganguly has been included as a mentor to the side, Donald will be their bowling coach. Ganguly will continue to play for the side as a batsman as well.
IPL 2012 Live: Ganguly, Donald Join Coaching Staff
Sourav Ganguly has been appointed as Pune Warriors’ mentor while Allan Donald will join the team as their bowling coach.

Pune Warriors could suffer on two counts – they are already without their coach, Geoff Marsh, who resigned from the position to take on the role of coaching the Sri Lankan side. Then again, their captain Yuvraj Singh could miss the tournament after suffering from a non-malignant tumour in the lungs.
Paddy Upton will be the mental and conditioning coach, while Praveen Amre is the the batting coach.
Ganguly had joined the side last year as a replacement for Ashish Nehra for a sum of $400,000. He will continue to hold the position and that allows the Warriors with $1.6 million to spend in the February 4 auction.
Donald is currently the bowling coach of South Africa but the national side do not play any cricket between April and May, the duration of the IPL. This will allow him to take on the role with the Pune Warriors. The Warriors have expressed their keenness in having Donald over to conduct a bowling camp with the Pune bowlers before South Africa’s tour of New Zealand from February 9.
Pune had a very poor previous edition of the tournament and they finished tied last with Delhi.
