The Australian T20 side will take new direction when they take field against India in the two-match T20 series as Cameron White has been replaced as the side’s skipper by George Bailey. White has also been given the boot from the squad after persistent failures in this format that included a total of 55 runs in the Big Bash League for the Melbourne Stars at an average of less than eight.
India V Australia T20 Live: White Axed, Bailey New Captain
Australia will have a new captain in George Bailey for the two T20Is against India, after Cameron White was given the boot following some poor performances.

National selector John Inverarity said, "The NSP unanimously favoured George Bailey as Captain of the T20 team. George is a very good T20 player with a sound record,"
The other big news was the inclusion of Brad Hogg, a 40-year old who had retired from international cricket. He made a comeback to the Big Bash League this summer and through the eight games he has played so far, had an economy rate of less than six runs per over. He had earlier said that he would like to play for India.
David Hussey, Travis Birt, Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh were the other batsmen, Matthew Wade will keep wickets while Brett Lee, Mitchell Marsh and Clint McKay lead the pace bowling department.
Dan Christian will be the all-rounder and Xavier Doherty will fight for the spinner’s berth with Hogg.
