Shaun Marsh was not included in the ODI squad for the series against India and Sri Lanka. The selectors named a squad for the first three games and there was no place for either Marsh or Brad Haddin. Matthew Wade of Victoria replaces Haddin in the 14-member team.
Australia ODI Squad: Marsh Out, Forrest Gets A Go
Peter Forrest and David Hussey have got a chance to play in the first three ODIs of the series against India and Sri Lanka.

Steve Smith, the all-rounder, who led the Sydney Sixers to a win in the recently concluded Big Bash League, has not been selected either.
The squad has a fair sprinkling of experience and youth – Ricky Ponting and the Hussey brothers, Michael and David, were selected in the squad as was Peter Forrest, 26, who has an average of 58.10 this year in the domestic matches.
Michael Clarke will continue to remain the captain, but no vice-captain has been named yet. David Warner and Forrest will open the innings in the absence of the injured Shane Watson and Dan Christian, Ryan Harris and Xavier Doherty will be a part of the ODIs as well.
Shaun Marsh’s brother, Mitchell also gets his chance in the ODI squad.
According to the chief selector John Inverarity, “With Peter Forrest, we've been looking and saying there will be some time in, say, the next three years when we're going to be without Ricky Ponting and Mike Hussey. So we're looking to develop three or four or five young batsmen and invest some opportunity there. Peter Forrest has had a very good Sheffield Shield season thus far, I think it's three centuries that he's made. He's certainly a player at the moment who we're looking for all-round development.”
