Australia Win The First T20 Against West Indies

Australia won the first T20 against West Indies played at Gros Islet, St Lucia by 8 wickets with 11 balls to spare.
Chasing 151 to win, Australia lost Warner in the first over with a single run on the board. But Michael Hussey who joined Shane Watson ensured that another didn’t fall for at least another 108 runs, a period during which Watson five boundaries and six sixes on the way to scoring 69 off 43 balls. Bailey who came in after Watson’s wicket ensured no further hiccups as he along with Hussey who scored 59 runs took the Australians to victory in 18.1 overs.
Earlier West Indies who had decided to bat after winning the toss, got off to an unspectacular start losing four wickets for 72 runs off 12.1 overs. It was Pollard, the man in form, who proved the innings the much needed impetus scoring at quick pace. His fifty came off only 20 balls and his knock of 56 consisted of five hits over the fence. Unfortunately he hardly got any support at the other end as wickets kept falling, and he was left stranded at his end, having run out of time to put up a match winning total.
151 was always going to be chase able and on this wicket Australia didn’t put a foot wrong.
