Bakelants sits alone atop the leaderboard with a crowd of cyclists tied and trailing him. David Miller and Julien Simon are sitting at No. 2 and 3 in the standings respectively.
Meanwhile, Marcel Kittel is wearing the green jersey after winning the first stage of the Tour de France. Pierre Roland, Michal Kwiatkowski and Blel Kadri are the other cyclists who have earned jerseys through two stages of the event.
