The 2013 Tour de France concluded Stage 14 on Saturday as the racers slowly make their way towards Paris. Matteo Trentin was the top finisher on the day, becoming the first Italian to win a Tour stage this year. Trentin sprinted down the final 25 meters to pass Michael Albasini. Trentin is now 121st on the overall leaderboard.
Tour de France 2013 standings: Chris Froome holds on to yellow jersey
Matteo Trentin won Stage 14, but he’s an afterthought in the main standings. Chris Froome finished 22nd and remains in first place for the seventh day in a row.

Current Tour leader Chris Froome finished 22nd, more than seven minutes behind Trentin, but remains in first place. Froome has now held the yellow jersey for seven straight days. While Froome remains in the lead, 2007 winner Alberto Contador is close behind in third place. Contador finished in 24th place on Saturday and is 2:45 behind Froome. Bauke Mollema remains in second place, 2:28 off the lead.
