Rui Costa of Portugal won Stage 16 of the Tour de France and moves up to 20th place in the overall standings. But it’s Chris Froome who still holds the yellow jersey, and he continues to widen his lead on the pack.
Tour de France 2013 standings: Chris Froome tightens grip on lead
Chris Froome still holds the yellow jersey, and with only five stages left, it doesn’t look like he’ll be giving it up any time soon.

Froome finished 29th on Tuesday’s 168-kilometer ride from Vaison-la-Romaine to Gap. He extended his lead to four minutes and 14 seconds ahead of Bauke Mollema. Mollema finished right behind Froome at 30th and was unable to gain any time on the leader. Alberto Contador found himself in the same predicament, finishing in 32nd place and stuck at third.
