With the 2013 edition of the Tour de France winding down, Briton Chris Froome still holds the overall lead and control of the yellow jersey. Froome has an advantage of more than five minutes over second-place Alberto Contador.

Froome has been atop the standings since winning the eighth stage on July 6, and he’s won two more stages since. Contador, the two-time Tour winner from Spain, trails by 5 minutes, 11 seconds. Colombia’s Nairo Quintana, who leads the race to be crowned top young rider, ranks third overall, 5 minutes, 32 seconds off the pace. Roman Kreuziger and Joaquin Rodriguez round out the top five, 5’44” and 5’58” behind Froome, respectively.

There was no change in the top five after Friday’s Stage 19, and barring a total collapse in Stage 20, Froome almost certainly will claim the overall title when the race ends in Paris at the conclusion of Stage 21.

In addition to the overall top five remaining steady, there were no changes atop the climber, points and youth classifications. Froome still has a slim lead in the race for king of the mountains, and Peter Sagan has a stranglehold on the sprint competition. Quintana retains the lead over his fellow under-25 riders for the fifth straight stage.
