Liverpool vs. Tottenham: Lineups

As expected Daniel Sturridge slots back into the Liverpool lineup after recovering from a inury. Luis Suarez drops back behind him with Steven Gerrard shifting deeper into the midfield to accommodate the change. Brad Jones, who was doubtful with a shoulder injury, makes a surprise start over Pepe Reina.

Andre Villas-Boas makes just one change from his lineup that defeated Arsenal last week. Aaron Lennon's hamstring injury from the mid-week keeps him out so while I've written this up as 4-2-3-1, it could just as easily be a 4-3-3 from Spurs. If it's a 4-2-3-1, the real question is whether Gylfi Sigurdsson, Gareth Bale or Moussa Dembele will play in the hole.

Liverpool starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Brad Jones; Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger, Jaime Carragher, Jose Enrique; Lucas Leiva, Gerrard; Stewart Downing, Coutinho, ; Luis Suarez; Daniel Sturridge.

Tottenham starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Kyle Walker, Michael Dawson, Jan Vertonghen, Benoit Assou-Ekotto; Scott Parker, Jake Livermore; Gylfi Sigurdsson, Moussa Dembele, Gareth Bale; Jermain Defoe.
