Eric Pincus is reporting that Kobe Bryant did not practice today, and his feeling is that he may no play in the Lakers opener on Tuesday.
Fantasy spin: Kobe Bryant “unlikely” for opener, Jodie Meeks worth a flier
According to Eric Pincus of the Los Angeles Times, Kobe Bryant did not practice on Monday and does not look likely for the opener.

Not practicing =Kobe - I would say not looking good for opener

Bryant is dealing with a strained foot, but it doesn't sound like it will keep him out for anymore than a game or two, at the most.
Pincus mentioned that Jodie Meeks practiced with the starters and it would seem as if Bryant can't go, he'll get the nod at shooting guard.
Meeks can be an instant boost to owners looking for help in points and threes. Unfortunately, he doesn’t do much else. Still, a 15-point, 2-trey performance isn’t out of the question. What you have to remember here is that you’ll never replace Kobe with anyone off the waiver wires, so you have to look at piecing together the options -- which, in this case, is Meeks.
