Pretty sad news out of Cleveland, as it was announced yesterday that Cavaliers point god guard Kyrie Irving will miss the next four weeks of action after suffering a hairline fracture in his left index finger.
Fantasy Insight: The Kyrie Irving injury
With Kyrie Irving shelved for the next four weeks, fantasy owners want to know where they should turn to next.

The question, for fantasy owners, now remains; where, or who, do I turn to next?
Right now, I think the only must-own is Dion Waiters. Obviously, Waiters, who is shooting just 38.8 percent from the floor, isn't prone to struggle, but seeing as the Cavaliers now need to make up for what they lose in Irving's scoring ability, expect to see Waiters get more looks and touches. He may not convert them to the tune of a respectable FG%, but I do expect him to improve overall, especially in scoring, assists, threes and free-throw attempts.
The other place to look is at the true backup point guard position, where it looks like Donald Sloan and Jeremy Pargo will get first dibs. As of this past weekend, Pargo was the first point guard off the bench, so it would seem as if he's the first guy to get a good look here. However, that doesn't mean Sloan can't step in and steal the gig from him. To that, Daniel Gibson might also get an opportunity to play some point.
Really, though, it’s probably going to be a “hot hand” situation. Which means, there’s no real must-own player of this bunch, aside from Waiters.
Take it game-by-game, and see how the minutes are divvied up. That’s the best advice I can give you for now.
As for what to do about Kyrie? Hold him, hold him tight, and hope that he can return sooner than his 4-week initial timetable. Because as we know, you can “replace” Kyrie, but you can never replace him.
